In this article I'll talk about some places that you can go in Tokyo to drink for free. I'm sorry to the men, because this only applies to females.
However, I will still say that The Hub is still one of my favorite bars in Tokyo. They have decent cocktails. I have found a few that I kept going back for. I like extremely sweet cocktails. But I will say you won't find a better Long Island than at The Hub. Their drinks have a good amount of alcohol, unlike traditional Japanese places. And the price point is pretty decent for the size of the drink.
Another place that I adore is TGI Fridays. Yes, I love TGI Fridays in Japan!!! Their drinks are HUGE, compared to Japanese size, and I always leave tipsy AF. They have a happy hour here in Japan. It's only on weekdays, and it's usually when people are working, but it's still a good happy hour.
The place is called Oriental Lounge Eve. There's one in Shinjuku and Shibuya, that I know of. You may ask, why is it free. The stipulations are that men can come up to converse with you. It's basically like a dating place. However, Jane told me that no Japanese men had ever approached her there.
She did eavesdrop on a conversation that a group of Japanese men were having though. They spoke about us and whether they would ever date a gaijin, aka foreigner hahaha. So, I'm sorry if you're going there to meet someone because you probably won't. It's still a fun time for a girl’s night out. Also, you do need to order one thing, but it would come up to about 5 dollars so no worries there. They also might be a little strict if no one in your group can speak Japanese. So, please bring a friend who's decent at it.
I have stayed there for a an all nighter, and it was an ungodly experience. Maybe I'm just getting older and have become too sensitive, but I really don't think so. I saw a Japanese guy making out with a girl. Pretty standard at a nightclub. But what isn’t standard at an American nightclub is what happened next. The guy and the girl disappeared for a while. I had a feeling that they went to a love hotel. Okay, I'm not here to judge. But when they both came back, and this is where it gets digesting, they both were looking for a new person to hook up with.
I kid you not. I could not make this up even if I tried. I did see the guy trying to talk to a new girl. I just hope he didn't take her to the same hotel. I guess it's all speculation though. Please don't meet and hookup with anyone from a nightclub, just saying. Anyway, but you can drink for free there until a certain point. I do think that there are certain clubs that women can drink for free for a few hours. You just have to do some research and ask around.
Good luck on having a fun and FREE ladies’ night. I hope I could help your savings in some small way.
XOXO
Going Out in Tokyo
There are a few places that I have become a regular at in Tokyo. I love a bar called The Hub. The Hub is like an international bar, I've spoken about it in my past article. I do usually have strange men come up to me when I go there, but it's usually not something I can't handle with a b*tchy look hahaha. You will see A LOT of foreign men there, mainly to look for easy Japanese women. And I have bore witness to one of the strangest stories I've ever heard there. This story involved one Japanese girl and a few foreign guys. That's all I'm going to say because it was quite a disturbing story. However, I will still say that The Hub is still one of my favorite bars in Tokyo. They have decent cocktails. I have found a few that I kept going back for. I like extremely sweet cocktails. But I will say you won't find a better Long Island than at The Hub. The Free Places
Okay okay, here we are at where you can drink for free in Tokyo. I found this place because of Jane. Jane had invited us to go out drinking, and said she knew a place where women could drink for free. Of course, I was skeptical at the time. But women CAN actually drink for free here. The place is called Oriental Lounge Eve. There's one in Shinjuku and Shibuya, that I know of. You may ask, why is it free. The stipulations are that men can come up to converse with you. It's basically like a dating place. However, Jane told me that no Japanese men had ever approached her there.

And a Nightclub
The next place I knew where you could drink for free was a club. This club is in Azabujuban Tokyo. The club is called ELETOKYO. Women could drink for free from 10-12. I would suggest if you do go there to drink, ONLY stay there for the drinks and then GET OUT.I have stayed there for a an all nighter, and it was an ungodly experience. Maybe I'm just getting older and have become too sensitive, but I really don't think so. I saw a Japanese guy making out with a girl. Pretty standard at a nightclub.
