Coronavirus Update

In this article I'll talk about updates I've heard about the coronavirus from the United States.

The United States

In the United States, I've said in my previous article that everyone should be under lockdown. Well, they are. However, this weekend I've seen that some people are protesting the lockdown. I have heard that Trump wants to open the US back up by the end of the month of April.
I know that his supporters support anything that he says and does. It's basically like a cult. My mom told me that a woman complained about not getting her hair done... Sigh... Because that's the most important thing.
If the protesters had said something legitimate, then I would have taken it more seriously. Right now, there are 22 million people who have filed for unemployment in the US. 22 MILLION PEOPLE. That is a pretty scary number. However, I've heard that they're making like 1,200 dollars A WEEK. That's not too shabby if you ask me.
I have already heard of states in talks of opening back up. From what I saw, Texas will be one of the first states. I also heard about Florida opening their beaches back up. I have seen the woman who oversees this task. She DRUG her feet to close the beaches before. That is why we saw many young spring breakers there when the outbreak started. In my opinion, it was clear from the start that she didn’t care too much about stopping the spread of the virus. Therefore, I’m not surprised by Florida. Texas has always been suspect to me anyway, so I’m also not surprised by them.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I understand that some people are worried about paying bills. HOWEVER, if they are receiving unemployment then I do believe that it is okay... For now. This should, of course, only be temporary. The United States is a very rich country. They always seem to have an endless amount of money for war, and bailouts for the rich. Why can't they front the bill for their citizens to stay safe during this virus. I believe the US should stay closed for a few months at least.

Why Not Wait Just A few More Months?

The problem is that the rich people within the United States are the greediest, most evil people alive. They don't want to give money to the working class, they just want to hoard it for themselves. And while I understand that people may be anxious about paying bills, I also understand that people are dying.
People are continuing to die from this virus. And in some parts of the US, they are in a very critical situation. Not everyone in the United States can afford to eat healthy, non-cancerous food. They continue to dump poison into food, make-up, sanitary napkins, and deodorant, only to name a few. But let's not forget the fact that some cities in the US don't even have clean drinking water.
When I lived in the Philippines, I couldn't drink the water. The Philippines is a third world country. The United States is one of the richest countries in the world. Something is not adding up. There are a lot of unhealthy people in the United States. Oh, and let's not forget the most expensive healthcare amongst all first world nations. It's just a recipe for disaster.
I cannot honestly say that I support opening the United States back up. There are areas that haven't been hit as hard. But I’m sure that if the state of emergency is called off, so many more people will die. The healthcare system just cannot handle it. They're barely handling it now.

My Advice

I have advised my family to leave the United States. In my opinion, it's the only solution. I also saw that at the protest to open the US up again, people were proudly flying their Nazi flags in support of Trump. You can't make this stuff up even if you wanted to. I believe that the US is not a good country to live in, and I'll continue to stand by that notion.
I believe that now is the time to get your passport and to think about starting a new life elsewhere, when you can. At this point, I think it's a lost cause. If the people who protested want the US to open back up, how about letting those individuals have it. Let them go back to work and back to their salons. Let them catch the virus, but allow those who want to remain at home, remain at home. That's what I think, but I don't know.
