In this article I'll give my opinion on what's going on in the United States.
2020
Last year was the year that things really started popping off in the United States. The murders, the protests, the riots, the racism. Everything all kind of exploded due to the lockdown, and Trump played a role as well. Things were pretty crazy in the US last year.
I was happy that I wasn't there, but I was really worried about my family. Not to mention they claimed that the US had a lot of COVID cases. People were getting hit from every angle, no wonder things blew up the way they did.
I think all of us were hoping for things to be a little less crazy this year. Well... Here we are, just a few days into 2021, and the United States is already on fire yet again.
2021
This year is starting off with a bang. Which, can we really be surprised about this? This whole election has been a sh*t show from start to finish. Trump incites his followers to do things. So his followers did what he asked. Yes, they rioted the Capital. No, they were not shot. Yes, they were Caucasian. How do I feel about all of this considering what happened with the Black lives matter movement? Well, I don't know.
Truthfully, I don't know what to think anymore. I've basically decided to be done with politics. There are no winners in this fight. Republicans are wrong, Democrats are wrong. I feel there is no winner in this. I think it's unfortunate that the police cannot treat African Americans who protest the same way they treat Caucasian Americans. However, I'm not upset about what took place. I don't think the police should use excessive force on ANYONE.
I don't think that the government has our best interest at heart, and I do think it's good to fight back. I'm not mad at those people for what they did. Do I support Trump? ABSOLUTELY NOT. But I don't think that the government should be able to do whatever they want and get away with it.
The Real Reason I'm Worried
In China, they have made a point system for their citizens. This point system is based on good or bad behavior. You know, kind of like a star system you use to have in kindergarten. You get points based on your behavior.
I do believe that they ALLOWED those people into the capitol building in order to show that the citizens of the United States need MORE RESTRICTIONS. The government wants to restrict the internet, this was a great way to get what they wanted.
They could say that hate groups are organizing on social media, therefore it needs to be restricted. They could also try to argue that we need the same point system that China has orchestrated on its citizens. That's what I'm actually worried about. If you don't know who LovelyTi is on YouTube, I suggest you look her up. She has some really interesting views on these types of topics.
Am I a Conspiracy Theorist
If you look up where the term "conspiracy theory" comes from, you'll know the truth. This term was used to discredit people who actually knew the truth about what the government is planning or undertaking in. I hate when people use this term. You have to learn to think for yourself. Trusting in governments, politicians, people on the TV, celebrities, where has that gotten us so far?
Nobody thought that we could ever go through what we're going through now, yet here we are. Don't be a sheep who follows blindly to your own demise. Think for yourself. I thought if 2020 had taught us anything, it would be that. But I know that it's too uncomfortable for some people to contemplate.
Closing Thoughts
I don't want to sound crazy or doomsday-ey, I just think that we should try to prepare ourselves mentally for what might happen next. We should try to make a plan for what if, just in case. I'm going to try to learn to grow my own food. And I haven't been shopping as much to save as much as I can.
Good luck with 2021. On a good note, at least we'll get a second stimulus check right? LOL! Regardless of what's going on, try to remember that God has a plan no matter how bleak things are looking.
Well...Until next time! Talk to again soon.
